NOVOTEL BAYEUX
The Novotel Bayeux is located close to Bayeux and ideally situated for our visits to the Coast.
All Bedrooms have Private Facilities, Telephone, TV and Air-Conditioning.
There is a Restaurant, Bar, Outdoor Swimming Pool, Gift Shop, Passenger Lift and 24 Hour Reception.
ITINERARY
THURSDAY
Early Morning departure to join our crossing to France and onwards to the Historic City of Rouen - The Capital of Normandy.
Here we have a comfortable and interesting overnight Hotel with Dinner included.
FRIDAY
A French Buffet Breakfast before we rejoin our Coach - Travelling to the Beaches of the British Sector.
We call at Pegasus Bridge including entry to the Museum and the drive to the Beaches of Sword, Juno and Gold.
Then it's the D Day Museum of Arromanches-Les-Bains before finally travelling to the Novotel Bayeux where we stay for 3 Nights with Dinner each Evening.
SATURDAY
A Buffet Breakfast and then we are joined by our expert Local Guide as we depart to the American Sector, to include a visit to the Normandy American Cemetery followed by Omaha Beach and the Overlord Museum.
We continue to Pointe du Hoc and see the German battery before returning to our Hotel for a relaxing Evening and Dinner.
SUNDAY
With our Guide this morning, we visit Utah Beach and its Museum.
We then continue via the Dick Winters Memorial of Easy Company to St Mere Eglise before visiting the US Airborne Museum.
Our final visit for the day will be to the German Cemetery at La Cambe. We then return to the Novotel for Dinner.
MONDAY
We depart The Novotel today and make our way to the beautiful Normandy Coastal resort of Honfleur.
It is a traditional Harbour Town with 18th Century Townhouses popular with Artists such as Claude Monet.
We then continue to Rouen and The Holiday Inn Express - Rive Gauche for our last evening - Dinner included.
TUESDAY
A Fresh Buffet Breakfast and then we depart towards Calais and our return crossing to the UK and back to the West Midlands.
